FOUNDING PRICES.  FIRST 500 KNIVES: Taster $0 · Pocket $39 (list $49) · Swiss $79 (list $95) · Every Blade Ever $159 (list $199) · + local VAT shown at checkout · Do the math →

A friendly guided intake shapes your Swiss Knife. Your completed file works everywhere, forever, fully offline — nothing leaves your browser, nothing is stored elsewhere.

Start with a Taster — free, and truly yours.

A knife forged to you, not one of many cast alike.

01 · The Taster

Weight 2 · $0

Answer the same seven questions every knife does. Pick two Tools. Download on the spot — no checkout, no e-mail. Carries everything the paid tiers do: the Patina, the Garden, the Bequest. Nothing gated.

02 · Cast vs forged

Not the free three

The three free tools are cast — one shape for everyone. The Taster is forged — one shape for you, named by you, in the exact shape of a piece of your life.

03 · Come back for the rest

What doesn't fit

In Taster mode the Forge opens the whole catalog with a note: what doesn't fit is what you come back for. A Taster upgrading later simply pays the price of the size it becomes.

Blades, Tools, and one honest file.

Three things to know before you step into the Forge.

01 · Blades

9 Blades

Interconnected suites that share one memory. Invoice a client in the Freelancer's Pond and they're already known to the Ledger next door. Weight 3 or 4 apiece.

A worn sage green rubber stamp reading MANIFESTO02 · Tools

168 Tools

Single implements, weight 1. Trackers keep — a hive log, a mileage log, a mood diary. Reckoners compute, don't store — VAT, dosage, tip. Small, sharp, honest. 9 Blades and 168 Tools — 177 shapes of a life.

03 · File

One file

No install, no account, no cloud. E-mail it to yourself. Drop it on a USB stick. Open it on any device, any browser, any decade. It's yours.

Weight, once and plainly: 1 weight = 1 Tool. A Blade weighs 3 or 4. So a Pocket Knife (weight 6) is about one Blade and a couple of Tools; a Swiss Knife (weight 12) is roughly three Blades, or one Blade and eight Tools; the Taster (weight 2) holds two Tools; Every Blade Ever is uncapped.

Don't take our word for it.

The heaviest Blade we forge: a whole sketch-edit-export studio living in one tab. It runs entirely in your browser — nothing you draw is uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload it to.

It also makes an excellent present.

Forge a knife for someone — their name struck into the steel, their life shaped into the blades, and your words waiting on the first opening. A gift that's actually theirs, not a subscription in a bow. The card reads exactly what you write; the button reads Open the Swiss Knife in the shape of your Life.

Nothing is final. When the shape of your life changes, bring your Knife back and reforge it — add, remove, resize. Within your weight, reforging is free — forever. You only ever pay if your knife outgrows its tier, and then only the difference. Knife follows Life, never the other way around.

Software that ages with you.

A first, as far as we can tell.

01 · The Patina

Blades that wear

Every blade in your Knife shows its use — soft at the edge where you reach for it, factory-bright where you don't. Five wear bands, per-blade, calculated inside the file. Read about the Patina →

02 · The Garden

Entries that live

Contacts, plants, hives, pets — the Knife treats living entries as living. Tend them and they bloom; neglect them and they wilt at the corner. Nothing scolds, nothing deletes.

03 · Local, forever

Nobody in the room

The wear lives in the file, in your browser, and survives every reforge. There is no telemetry, no dashboard elsewhere, no analytics endpoint. Tools that remember →

THE DEAL, PLAINLY

You pay once. You get one HTML file, forged to your answers. It runs in your browser, offline, on whatever machine you point at it — today, next year, ten years from now. No account, no login, no server calling home. The file is yours; it doesn't expire, and neither does your right to open it.

If it isn't for you, tell us within thirty days, money back. One e-mail — no forms, no hoops. And the file stays yours either way: we couldn't reach into your computer to take it back if we wanted to. That's rather the point.
